Last weekend, almost 200 persons participated in an event organized in the picturesque Zakopane during the 25th anniversary of the Yawal company. Guests, who came to the Nosalowy Dwór mansion, amongst which there were many customers, suppliers, commercial partners and friends of Yawal, were welcomed by the owner of the company Edmund Mzyk and the President of the Management Board, Magdalena Jagiełło.
The anniversary gala was carried out by Filip Chajzer, who is well known of his jokes and interesting documentaries in the morning television. Organizers planned many attractions for participants, which guaranteed unforgettable memories. The history of the company was presented in a beautiful show of drawing with sand on the glass pane by Tetiana Galitsyna – master of this category and the winner of the Poland’s Got Talent. The history presented by her could not omit the references to the first original realization of Yawal – Terminal in Świecko, successes of Częstochowa volleyball players sponsored by the company, cooperation with higher educational units, or many industry awards received during the 25 years of the company’s activities.
After this unique show, there was a time for speeches. First speech was given by the owner of the company, Edmund Mzyk, who thanked everyone for their presence, unfolded the secret of the company establishment and mentioned all individuals without whom the success of Yawal would not be possible.
The President of the Management Baord, Magdalena Jagiełło, talked about the future and current changes within the company.
“We want to show our customers, partners, and suppliers that we are not only a production company, but also the company which promotes innovations, architecture, and development of technical concepts. (…) the 25thanniversary is also a perfect moment to refresh the company’s image. Our trademark has got a new individual character, which is more legible and modern. (…) Rebranding is also seen in a new way of communication with the market. We want to cooperate with designing and commercial offices of our partners in the field of single-family houses designing, as we see a large potential in the group of individual customers. Simultaneously, we offer not only new systems to our current customers, or the possibility to design unique structures, but also systematically expand training offer carried out by the Yawal Academy. (…) Everyone who watches the market realizes that growth is noted by the companies who carry out export activities. We wish Yawal to also play a significant role on the world markets, which means that we will face many challenges, and even more work. (…) Activity involving establishment of representative offices or engaging agents of Yawal abroad are also undertaken having in mind our partners, thanks to which it will be easier to export finished goods”.
The Member of the Management Board and Financial Director – Justyna Ryczko, who was invited to the stage, presented the 25 years of the company in numbers:
„Dear Sirs, the 25th years of Yawal S.A. is: 24 countries to which we directly supply our products, 48 506 tones of sold aluminium profiles, 417 main and several thousand od smaller or incidental suppliers – in total 5 628 entities, 1 222 employees and 3 081 customers in Poland and 258 foreign customers – in total 3 339 customers.”
The President expressed his appreciation to all participants for their cooperation and wished everyone that the next 25 years bring even more success.
“It is often that success of the company is assigned to the managing bodies or directors. Success of Yawal is the result of engagement, invention, an effort of the whole team. (…) results of the company are most certainly influenced by our customers, partners, and suppliers, thus by many of you ladies and gentleman. That is why, I would like to thank you for being the part of success achieved by Yawal”.
The memorable statuettes were given to the companies who have cooperated longest with Yawal company. There also had to be gifts prepared by the guests for Mr. Edmund Mzyk. The highlight of the first part of the evening was show of the Hrabi cabaret, which ensured a dose of laughter to the viewers referring to aluminium industry in their show and engaging the audience in the fun.
After the official part, which raised the appetites, the guests were invited by the hosts to an official dinner, after which there was time for dances, which lasted till late night hours. Our gala was completed by the anniversary cake, which was brought to the hall at 10 p.m. First piece was cut together by Mr. Edmund Mzyk and Mrs. Magdalena Jagiełło.
