Construction of the Małopolska Science Center Cogiteon began in March 2021. The facility consists of four pavilions connected by a common facade. The building gradually rises from ground level, extending from the former Rakowice-Czyżyny airport runway towards Bora-Komorowskiego Avenue. A significant portion of it is located underground.

The construction of the Małopolska Science Center Cogiteon began in June 2021 and was completed in 2023. The building has four above-ground floors and one underground floor. The usable area of the Center is 12,500 square meters. The investor is the Małopolska Voivodeship. The general contractor for the investment is Hochtief Polska from Warsaw.

The building, consisting of four modules connected by a common facade and roof, rises from ground level on the side of the former Rakowice-Czyżyny airport runway, gradually reaching a height of 23 meters.

It is worth noting that the project was developed using BIM technology, which streamlined the design process and future management of the facility. Cogiteon is also a green space—on the 4-hectare site, 296 trees, 465 shrubs, and numerous meadows have been planted.
