The synergy of tradition and modern character
The Monopolis office and recreation complex, which is located on nearly 29,000 sqm. m² was created as a result of the revitalization of the former POLMOS buildings.
Thanks to the extraordinary creativity of architects from the company Grupa 5 Architekci Sp. z o. o. its is now a showcase of Łódź and the most prestigious multifunctional building of 2020 in the Europe.
The main goal of the architects working on the project was to give MONOPOLIS a new functionality while maintaining the unique style of the entire complex.
That is why, they decided to revitalize the historical buildings while maintaining their current shape, and to enrich the entire investment with two buildings in a modern style.
The building was the awarded the prize MIPIM Awards 2020 in the category “Mixed-Use” and the Prime Property Prize 2020 in the category "architecture".
