The first Yawal Academy for Architects is already completed

The first Yawal Academy organised this year for architects took place on November 17/18 in Wałbrzych.

The meeting took place at the Książ castle, which for many years has been called the pearl of Lower Silesia.

The special guest of the Yawal Academy in Książ was the young architect David Bench, who gave a special lecture dedicated to the cooperation between architects and investors on the example of residential and commercial buildings in the United States.

Participants also had the opportunity to hear lectures from academy partners Geze and IGP PowderCoating.

We are delighted to have come together with the Architects we work with to start a public dialogue. We know that by 2030, cities will be home to 1.5 billion people, so our main task today is to persuade Architects that we should all stand up for the public good, to help promote and support innovative projects that reduce consumption of resources and space, sharing land, areas and resources. We believe that Architects are a profession of social trust that should actively moderate what kind of cities we want to build in Poland and Europe. Cities that are open and that build on Shared Economy - that is, that build trust between people, address the big problem of loneliness in cities especially among older residents. At Yawal, we create new solutions to give Architects the opportunity to design spaces that foster relationships, sharing, co-ownership. We want Yawal to build our community in Poland as an active and responsible 'citizen' of the world.  –  Karolina Mzyk Callias Prezes Yawal S.A
