At the beginning of April this year Tomasz Sęk took over the position of the President of the Management Board of Yawal S.A. He will be responsible for product offer management processes, including R&D, and direct production management processes.

Tomasz Sęk has been associated with the Boryszew-Impexmetal Capital Group since 2017. There he was the President of the Management Board and General Director of Zakłady Metalurgiczne Silesia S.A. and Huta Oława. He was responsible for defining and implementing the development strategy of the companies. Previously, for 10 years he worked for Harsco Corporation - a world leader in the metallurgical industry, where he held the positions of, among others, Operational Director and Managing Director, and was a member of the Management Boards of the Group's companies. In his last position he managed five production plants in Poland, Serbia, Romania and the Czech Republic, where he was responsible for the restructuring process and implementation of new management standards after the acquisition process. He is a graduate of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow, Faculty of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering. He completed post-graduate studies in Enterprise Management at the Faculty of AGH University of Science and Technology. He is currently completing Executive MBA studies at Aix-Marseille University.
