Last Thursday on 8th of December ‘Builder’ magazine organized a ceremonial gala in the cinema ‘Multikino Złote Tarasy’ in Warsaw in order to reward the most innovative solutions in construction industry.
The gala was begun by the presentation of PhD Krzysztof Stypuła (Crakow University of Technology) entitled: ‘New material, technological and construction solutions in modern buildings and their impact on design and investment implementation. After the lecture the members of 'Builder' Jury were invited on the stage in order to hand the winners the TOPBuilder 2017 awards.
Two from the all statuettes received our company! In construction products category were distinguished the following Yawal systems:
- TM 62EI - fire protection system for walls and doors,
- DP 180 - overhead-sliding doors system.
TOPBuilder 2017 rewards were collected by constructors of these systems: Rafał Włudzik and Artur Dzibiński.
Every year ‘Builder’ Jury grants TOPBuilder statuettes to the highest quality products, tectonic solutions and buildings in which modern structural, material, technological or architectural solutions were applied. All submitted products are verified in two stages. Jury evaluates products quality, innovativeness, level of technological advancement and their impact on environment. Approvals and certificates issued by certification institutes are very important for Jury. The chairman of the competition Jury is PhD Leonard Rukiewicz from Warsaw University of Technology. He is also the chair of the Scientific Council of the Building Research Institute.

DP 180 system is dedicated to manufacturing of overhead sliding doors for external purposes. It is a modern solution based on aluminium profiles with thermal separators. The construction of DP 180 helps to reduce heat energy losses, thus decreasing heating costs of designed objects. This product is suitable for residential buildings and for public utility buildings. The width and height of a door leaf may reach even 3300 mm, and weight - even 400kg. Large glazing is a sign of modern construction industry. Glass sheets, that are fixed by means of aluminium profiles, add lightness to each building and allow for creating a transparent barrier that is a well-thought out protection against cold, wind, rain or sunlight.
